If you’re like many of the women I work with, you might feel the weight of stress pressing down from all sides. Maybe you’re:

“Tammy helped me see my problem from a completely different perspective. I didn’t realize how much my own mindset was holding me back.”
I grew up in poverty, surrounded by domestic violence. At 17, I made the decision to leave and never look back. I became an emancipated minor and joined the military, arriving in Germany for my first duty station at 17 years old. From there, I built my life from the ground up.
After 15 years in the military, including a tour in Iraq, I left to raise my daughter as a single parent, putting her through college and supporting her through her own journey. Raising my daughter was unquestionably my greatest accomplishment!
And if you’re wondering about the highlight of my career, I spent 10 years working at the White House under Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama—no small feat for someone who started with nothing. But even then, stress was a constant and I was determined to overcome it.
I’m Tammy Aston.
While we’re working on your mental clarity, we’ll also address the stress stored in your body, helping you find relief physically as you heal emotionally. It’s an adaptable process that meets you where you are and helps you feel fully supported in both mind and body.
My work is shaped by personal experience and formal education. The “Women in Leadership” certificate course from eCornell was a game-changer. It opened my eyes to the masculine and feminine dynamics of leadership, gender biases, and the complex layers of stress we carry. I wish I’d learned this 20 years ago, but I’m here to make sure you don’t have to wait as long as I did.
I am also a Core-Centering Practitioner, Certified Professional Coach, and COR.E Wellbeing Dynamics Specialist (CWDS).
I’ve done the hard work, and I’m here to help you do it too—with compassion, directness, and a relentless commitment to seeing you thrive.
Why? Because healing isn’t a one-time event. It's a lifelong process. Through therapy, deep breathing, and practices like Restorative and Hatha yoga, I’ve learned to release the tension held in my body, something I bring into my coaching every day.

Pilates has been a game-changer for me. I started it when I had some back issues, and now I swear by it to keep my body strong and balanced. I’m serious about staying fit as I age, and between Pilates, walking outside, and some stretchy Hatha yoga, I’ve found what works for me.
Favorite Workout:
My mornings are sacred. I usually start the day with a good book (for personal growth or pure pleasure), and make sure to get my workout in. When it’s done early, I feel clear-headed and ready to take on the day without talking myself out of it.
My Morning Routine:
I absolutely love reading, and one of my recent favorites is Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. It’s bold, funny, and unapologetically feminist. Set in the fifties and sixties, it’s about a chemist who defies society’s expectations and inspires women with her unique cooking show. It’s a perfect mix of humor and depth, and it’s left a lasting impact on me.
What I’m Reading:
Side by side, we’ll clear the clutter, calm the chaos, and create a life that feels balanced and fulfilling.
The truth is, there’s life beyond the story you’ve been told or the one you’ve lived so far. Your story is not defined by what you’ve been through, what your parents taught you, or what society expects of you.
Together, we’ll work to release what’s holding you back and start creating a new story. One that’s truly yours.
